“I cannot recommend this company at all. Someone fraudulently used my husband’s ID, and despite the issue, no one contacted us. They simply stated the ID was valid without bothering to check if the applicant matched the ID. When I called to get more information, the person in HR, Maria, was incredibly dismissive and unhelpful. Honestly, it felt like they were using my information to exploit someone else. Avoid this company – they clearly aren’t prioritizing your best interests.”

Honestly, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. I hired them as a sub-contractor for an addition to my house, and from the very beginning, it was a disaster. They completely disregarded the yard, never fixing the damage they caused and it’s still a mess with nails and cigarette butts everywhere. The foundation work was unbelievably problematic – they got the measurements wrong three times, requiring them to jackhammer my foundation, and then the poured foundation cracked in half just two months later. Because of this, they had to cut my roof supports, barely passing inspection. Beyond the foundation, there were constant issues. Their equipment was dangerously careless, breaking sewer pipes, smashing my hose box, and creating massive damage to my yard. They also ignored utility markings, damaging a buried electrical conduit. They even hooked up their tools to regular outlets, blowing out a couple of breakers. The patio concrete wasn't level, leading to water pooling, and they even left cardboard boxes in the concrete, creating a huge termite problem. It took them countless attempts – five, I believe – just to get the bathtub installed correctly, and they didn't even follow basic procedures like properly bracing the water lines. It was a truly frustrating and unprofessional experience.

“As a recent homeowner with a Starlight Homes build, I have to say I’m really disappointed with the quality of work. It seems they’re rushing out a lot of their new homes to the Sierra Verde community, and unfortunately, the craftsmanship isn't up to par. Adding to that, getting any response or resolution through their warranty process has been incredibly difficult. It’s concerning to see so many code violations on my house and across the street – it makes me question whether the county was truly conducting thorough inspections. Honestly, Sierra Verde doesn’t seem to prioritize quality, and I wouldn't recommend using them for any significant projects.”

“I noticed one of your trucks was on S 16th this morning, and it was quite messy – garbage was blowing out the back. The driver seemed aware of it, constantly braking when pieces would fall out, but he didn’t slow down or take any steps to secure the load.”
-
“I have serious concerns about the drivers’ behavior. It’s incredibly worrying to see them consistently disregarding traffic laws and putting lives at risk. Frankly, it’s unacceptable, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable letting them handle anything requiring responsibility or attention to detail until they demonstrate a fundamental understanding of safe driving practices.”

“We have serious concerns regarding Robert Torres’ conduct. He was observed at Ojos Locos on 75th and Thomas, heavily intoxicated, and left in his company vehicle with a group he’d been drinking with. Tragically, he then backed into a parked car and left the scene without staying to address the damage or contact the authorities – it appears to be a hit and run.”
-
“I’m very concerned about the driver’s behavior I observed today. While approaching the intersection of Gilbert Rd and German Rd around 6:38 am, the truck driver made a dangerous maneuver by cutting me off in the right lane, clearly intending to turn left. This reckless action almost resulted in a collision, and the driver didn’t seem to prioritize safety or consider the impact on other drivers. It’s clear there’s a need for improved driver training and a greater emphasis on basic road safety and respect for other motorists.”

“I haven’t personally used Sierra Verde Construction’s services yet, but I wanted to say what a great experience I had when I initially contacted them following a road incident. They were incredibly responsive and quickly took care of everything they needed to. Honestly, their commitment to doing the right thing really impressed me, especially Jose’s quick work on getting the situation resolved. I’ll absolutely be reaching out for an estimate if I ever need their services – ethics and integrity are really important to me when making spending decisions.”
-
“The team did a fantastic job getting the work completed on time. I’ve been observing deliveries in the area, and it seems a lot of delays are caused by impatient drivers. If everyone just took a little time to share the road and drive safely, things would run much more smoothly. I always appreciate seeing calm and courteous drivers – the staff were all very kind and friendly, which definitely contributed to a positive experience.”
-
“I’m extremely disappointed with the concrete work this company did on my new home. The exposed concrete was shockingly poor quality – they attempted to fix the driveway twice, but unfortunately made the problem significantly worse. They also installed a concrete overlay in front of my garage where it wasn’t supposed to be, and the resulting overlay in front of my door looks completely unprofessional and like a very basic job.”
