Here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on the text: “During our trip, one of the company’s trucks nearly caused an accident in Show Low, Arizona. The driver appeared to disregard a ‘yield’ sign, and almost collided with my vehicle. I felt extremely unsafe as they seemed to be aggressively trying to merge into traffic. I was worried about a serious accident. I considered letting the truck hit me to force the company to address the driver's apparent lack of attention and take responsibility for any damage to my vehicle.”

“The work on Combs Road has been a massive disappointment. It’s been over a year since the project began, and the road is still unfinished. Adding to the frustration, the increased traffic with the limited number of lanes is a serious problem. To make matters worse, it seems they’re constantly having to redo their own work, which is completely unacceptable.”

“I wanted to bring to Sunland’s attention the importance of reminding employees who drive company cars that they’re representing the company. I had a really concerning experience recently with aggressive and unsafe driving, and it mirrored a similar issue raised by another reviewer. Honestly, if I were choosing a company based on this kind of behavior, I’d be hesitant to work with Sunland.”

Honestly, the entire online application process was a huge waste of time. Their system immediately flagged my resume and then demanded an absolutely ridiculous amount of detail – addresses, phone numbers, supervisor information – for every single job I’d ever held. It felt like going back to ancient application forms! Despite claiming it was a “3-minute” process, I ended up spending ages trying to get around the system. Predictably, after all that effort, I received a rejection email within thirty minutes. It's frustrating when a system clearly doesn't value experience, and I strongly suspect I was unfairly rejected due to my years in the field. The whole thing felt deliberately obstructive, especially with the account lockout after a few failed login attempts. I ended up having to reset my password just to get through the application, which was completely unnecessary. I’ve had a bad feeling about this company before, and after this experience, I absolutely won’t be wasting my time with them again – it’s a prime example of their silly, outdated corporate practices.

There were significant issues with communication and customer service. Employees lacked basic English proficiency and displayed a consistently rude and disrespectful attitude, failing to show any common courtesy.

“As a resident of Montelano Apts, I wanted to share my experience. While the maintenance team was quick to get things done, I was disappointed with the quality of their work. The blowers they used created a significant mess and unfortunately broke a window. Additionally, the pavement repairs were just a surface spray and didn’t properly fill the cracks. It’s frustrating when you’re relying on building maintenance and sometimes feels like you’re getting what you pay for.”
-
“Richard and his team were absolutely fantastic to work with – genuinely great guys who were incredibly hardworking. Considering the importance of maintaining our asphalt in top condition in the storage industry, Sunland consistently delivered.”

“I’m really disappointed with the progress on this road project here in Tucson, especially on Fort Lowell. While it’s the best-organized roadwork I’ve seen around town – and that’s a huge compliment – the reality is far from the initial promise of being finished by early March. The road surface is now two inches below the curb, and there’s absolutely no indication they’re planning to address that. Adding to the frustration, the traffic poles are spaced too closely, causing a lot of confusion and drivers having to constantly adjust their speed. And the removal of the middle turn lane is creating a serious safety hazard; people are forced to stop completely to turn into their homes or businesses. Honestly, the communication from the contractors has been completely lacking. We need clear updates about the delays, and we need to know if the timeline is shifting. They’ve essentially turned Fort Lowell into a nightmare to drive on, and I’d take potholes over this any day. I’d urge the Tucson City Council to seriously reconsider hiring this company for future road projects.”
-
“I really enjoyed working with this team – they were all incredibly professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. I wholeheartedly recommend them.”
-
“I’m really concerned about the reckless driving I’ve witnessed these workers doing in the neighborhood – it’s incredibly disrespectful to the homeowners. I’m also surprised Gilbert hires this company, given their behavior.”
