“I had a really concerning experience while driving with this company. One of their trucks nearly caused an accident in Show Low, Arizona – they seemed to miss a ‘yield’ sign and almost pulled me off the road while they were trying to merge in. It was a frightening situation, and I felt really unsafe. To be honest, I’m frustrated because they don’t seem to be prioritizing driver safety, and I’m considering taking matters into my own hands if they don’t address this issue properly.”

“Honestly, the work on Combs Road has been a huge disappointment. It’s been over a year since they started, and the road is still unfinished. The increased traffic with the limited number of lanes is a serious problem, and it’s frustrating that they’ve had to repeatedly redo sections of their own work.”
-
“I wanted to share some concerns regarding company car drivers. It’s really important that employees driving Sunland vehicles understand they’re representing the company and its brand. I personally experienced some very concerning driving behavior – it was aggressive, dangerous, and frankly, hostile. Based on this experience, I’d honestly be hesitant to do business with Sunland if this is the kind of driving standards they expect.”

Honestly, the whole online application process was a huge waste of time. Their system immediately flagged my resume and then demanded an unbelievable amount of detail – addresses, phone numbers, supervisor information – for *every* job I’d ever held. It felt like stepping back in time to those ancient paper forms. Despite promising a quick three-minute process, I ended up spending ages filling in the minimum required details, only to get rejected about thirty minutes later. It’s frustrating when a system doesn't even bother to look at my twenty years of relevant experience. And the login system! They have a limited number of attempts and lock you out – it felt deliberately designed to discourage people from applying. I had to reset my password just to get through it. I’ve had a bad feeling about this company before, and after this experience, I definitely won’t be wasting my time with them again.

“There were significant issues with communication and customer interaction. Employees lacked basic English proficiency and demonstrated a lack of courtesy and respect, which was concerning.”

“As a resident of Montelano Apts, I wanted to share my experience. While the repairs were completed quickly, I was disappointed with the quality of the work. The blowers created a significant mess and unfortunately broke a window. Additionally, they just sprayed the cracks in the pavement instead of properly filling them. It’s frustrating when you’re a resident and don’t always get the same level of attention to detail as someone who’s paying for the service.”
-
“Richard and his team were absolutely fantastic to work with – genuinely great guys who were incredibly hardworking. Considering the importance of maintaining our asphalt in top condition in the storage industry, Sunland consistently delivered excellent results.”
-
“Overall, the work being done on Fort Lowell Road is surprisingly well-handled, considering it’s one of Tucson’s major projects. However, there are some serious concerns that need to be addressed. While the repaving itself has been done quite neatly, the road is now two inches lower than the surrounding curb, and there’s no indication of a plan to fix this. Furthermore, the placement of the traffic poles is confusing and causes drivers to constantly adjust their speed. Removing the middle turn lane is a major issue – residents and businesses now have to risk a full stop to turn, creating a dangerous situation. The lack of communication from the contractors has been particularly frustrating. We need clear updates on the project timeline; if the completion date is changing, it’s essential that residents and businesses are informed. Honestly, even potholes would have been preferable to the current state of the road and the lack of transparency.”
-
“Overall, it was a really positive experience working with this team. The staff were fantastic – professional, incredibly efficient, and clearly very knowledgeable about their field. I’d definitely recommend them without hesitation.”
-
“I’m really concerned about the reckless driving I’ve witnessed from this company while working in the neighborhood. They seem completely disrespectful to the homeowners, and frankly, I’m surprised Gilbert hires them.”
