  “Overall, these folks seem to have a good understanding of countertops – they were pleasant to work with. However, my experience was unfortunately quite frustrating. I had some trouble getting the initial product I wanted, and when it finally arrived, it was significantly damaged. Because of this, I had to return it and switch to a different product, which added a substantial 1.5 months to my home build timeline. That’s why I’ve reduced my rating.” report abuse

Initially, I had a really frustrating visit – the customer service was shockingly unhelpful and they wouldn’t even schedule an appointment for me to pick up a slab because I couldn't remember the color. It was honestly due to their poor service that I didn’t have the information I needed. However, I later visited The Yard and had a fantastic experience! The staff were wonderful, the selection was great, and I was able to get my slab the same day. I wholeheartedly recommend going there – it’s a complete turnaround.” report abuse

  Overall, I had a really good experience shopping for granite countertops at this showroom. They have a beautiful space – it was clean, well-lit, and very thoughtfully arranged. The staff were fantastic; they were genuinely friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and happy to help. However, there’s definitely room for improvement in the warehouse area where the slabs are displayed. The signage wasn’t very clear, and it was a little confusing navigating between the different stone types. I found myself wandering into sections that weren’t what I was looking for. It would have been helpful to see the finished stone clearly marked, as several sections appeared to be missing the slabs with the exact dimensions I needed. I really appreciated the free samples – they were a great help, although it wasn’t until I got home that I realized I wanted to switch to a slightly different material. I plan to purchase my countertops from them; they just handle the sales aspect, which works perfectly since my project manager will take care of the measuring and fabrication. report abuse
