They were incredibly efficient and finished the entire job in just five hours – we were amazed by how much quieter the house was and the significant reduction in heat transfer through the glass compared to our previous windows.   Honestly, we’re really disappointed with the experience we’ve had. We invested a significant amount – around $44,000 before interest – in replacing all our windows, and unfortunately, we’ve run into a lot of problems. We initially had issues with the second installation in 2023, where some of the windows weren’t properly fitted and started leaking. They even had to come back to fix it, and they were taped up for painting which then caused them to billow. More recently, we’ve discovered the screens only have a very short 6-month warranty, and they’ve been incredibly fragile – one removal to clean them resulted in large gaps for critters to get through. And then there’s the air conditioning. We had both units replaced in 2004, and after the most recent one was installed on August 1st, 2024, they used a heat gun to check room temperatures. The temperature that day was a scorching 106°F, and the rooms on the west side of the house – the bathroom, guest room, and hobby room – ended up being uncomfortably hot, with temperatures ranging from 78°F to 97°F. It’s clear this window installation wasn’t effective at blocking heat. We’re not happy with the results. report abuse

  “We were absolutely thrilled with the work the Anderson Window Replacement crew did yesterday! They had two teams – Josh A and Chase led the way – and they replaced all 13 of our windows in just over six hours. What impressed us most was their professionalism, courtesy, and the incredible attention to detail. They even went above and beyond by reinstalling our blinds after taking them down. The rooms were spotless when they were finished, and the team was wonderful with our dogs too!   “We were really pleased with the whole experience with Renewal by Anderson. We’d been struggling with old, worn windows in our home since 2021, and after a frustrating time dealing with another company that kept missing appointments, we decided to try Renewal. Nick Sousa was fantastic – he arrived on time, gave us a great overview of Anderson’s products, and we never felt pushed into anything. We were especially surprised by how affordable the project was! The windows are now installed – they completed the work on May 22nd, and Ashton and his team did a truly outstanding job. They were incredibly efficient, getting all six windows replaced by 1 PM, and they were so polite and professional with our family. Plus, the cleanup was spotless; you’d hardly know they’d been here!
