“We had a surveyor from B&G do a survey for our new home purchase in early December, and the survey itself was satisfactory and completed on time. However, unfortunately, the surveyor left the property gates unlocked, and deer subsequently ate all of the landscaping. We provided the sellers with confirmation that the gate was left open, but B&G refused to cover the cost of the damage. Overall, we experienced very poor customer service. Because of this, we’ve filed a compliant with TBPELS, and I’d strongly recommend exploring other surveying options.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from B&G Surveying. Jason Garza was fantastic – incredibly thorough, responsive, and just a pleasure to work with. Their customer service was top-notch, and it’s clear why they’ve been around for so long. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing survey services, and I’m happy to pass them along to my realtor partners.”
-
“I was really pleased with B & G Surveying – they were happy to take on a smaller job like marking our property line for a fence. They kept me informed, completed the work on time, and the survey crew was incredibly helpful and professional. They even went the extra mile, adding a couple of points to ensure it was really easy to stay on the property line, which was tricky because of some trees.”
-
“I’ve been consistently impressed with B&G – I actually recommend them to my clients all the time. They really deliver a thorough job, and I appreciate that they provide both the physical and digital versions of their work. The team is also fantastic – really friendly and easy to work with.”
-
“B&G did a fantastic job meeting our needs during this busy period. They provided a realistic timeline, and impressively, delivered the project one day ahead of schedule while getting all the topo and tree details exactly right. We really appreciate their efficiency and accuracy!”
-
“I’m incredibly disappointed with the service I received. The survey copy was completely unreadable, and when I contacted BG, I was told they don’t retain surveys for more than 10 years, and I’d have to pay for a new one to be done. That seems completely unreasonable, especially as I was a previous customer. It’s really important to check how long a survey company keeps their records beforehand – it’s free to do so, and it shouldn’t be used as an excuse to charge a paying customer for something they already have.”
-
“I’ve consistently been really impressed with this team. They’re a local, long-standing company and their familiarity with the East Austin market is invaluable – they truly understand the area and the businesses here. Beyond that, they’re just a friendly and professional group, and they’ve been my go-to for all our surveying needs.”
-
“Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with this team’s performance. They were completely unwilling to undertake any additional work, even relatively small tasks like adding to their initial reports for just $750. Communication was also a significant issue – they were difficult to reach and didn’t seem open to discussion. Furthermore, the quality of their work was concerning, with some basic factual errors, such as mislabeling a round dwelling as a ‘water tank.’”
-
“We’ve been incredibly impressed with this surveying company. They’re consistently responsive, deliver excellent quality work, and offer fantastic prices – truly a go-to partner for our company.”
-
“B & G really stood out – they consistently went above and beyond what we expected from a survey company. They were efficient and didn’t leave us feeling like we were being dragged out.”
