“I was really pleased with Jerome and Wilbur’s work on my home renovations. They were a great team – friendly, super helpful with answering all my questions, and they completed the job exactly as agreed upon and on schedule. I’d absolutely hire them again.”
-
“I can’t recommend J & W Brown contracting highly enough. Jerome and his team did an absolutely fantastic job replacing all the stone sills on our house – truly outstanding work. Jerome was so professional, incredibly responsive, and a genuine pleasure to work with. We’ll definitely be using their services again in the future!”

“I went with Jerome to renovate my property, but unfortunately, the deal didn’t work out. He insisted on needing 95% of the payment upfront before the work was finished, and he wouldn’t budge on that. It just didn’t feel right to me – you shouldn’t pay a contractor that much in advance without some flexibility.”

“I was really disappointed with my experience working with J W Brown Construction. Jerome came out to discuss my patio paver project, and it took him a week to get an estimate to me, which I had to follow up on. When I finally received it, we got two other quotes that were significantly lower, but we were impressed with Jerome and decided to go with J W Brown. However, after giving them the go-ahead on May 18th, it took him two days to respond, and then he kept pushing the start date back, saying he’d be able to get to us “sooner than the middle of June.” After nine days of no communication, I had to call to simply confirm the start date, and he didn’t show up. Honestly, it felt like they weren’t serious about the project, and it was incredibly frustrating having to constantly chase them for updates. It’s clear they don’t value a customer’s time or prioritize communication, which is a major concern. I believe they missed a significant business opportunity, especially given the interest in patio work in our new community.”
-
“I had a really frustrating experience. I scheduled an appointment with JW Brown for 4pm, but he completely forgot about it when I called him at 3:59pm. Despite his forgetfulness and unprofessional behavior, I still waited for him. He also wasn’t willing to answer my questions or give me any kind of estimate. Honestly, it was a complete waste of time, and I wouldn't recommend this company.”
-
“I hired this contractor for some brickwork, but he completely disappeared – he never showed up, didn’t call, and I couldn’t even get in touch with him. It was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.”
