The office staff were also wonderful – friendly, helpful, and quick to respond.   Overall, my experience with this company was mixed. I was really pleased with their plumbing and AC work – they did a great job fixing my shower, replacing toilets and sinks, and even handled the air duct cleaning and sealing. The work was well-documented and seems to be holding up really well. However, I’ve been significantly disappointed with their home service department. While they were able to get an electrician out quickly, getting a quote has been a huge issue. I’ve waited ages for it, and I even received a text saying it was ready but never got the email. Communication has been really poor, and it’s made me hesitant to continue using them for larger projects. Because clear communication is so important to me, especially with significant renovations, I’m looking at other companies for things like the panel upgrade and bathroom remodel. report abuse

Brian, the technician who came out the next day, was fantastic – incredibly professional, really knew his stuff, and was just a genuinely nice guy. He explained everything clearly without any pressure, which I really appreciated. The work itself was top-notch and completed efficiently.   “I was absolutely blown away by this company! Their technician was fantastic – he arrived incredibly early, at 8 AM the morning after I submitted a late-night request to fix a serious leak in my second-floor bathroom. He was so professional, clean, and genuinely knowledgeable, and thankfully, he was able to resolve the problem quickly and for just $64. Honestly, I was expecting a much higher bill! I can’t recommend them enough – they’re honest and reliable. I’m planning a bathroom remodel soon and will absolutely be calling them again.” report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with the work this company did. Frankly, I wouldn’t recommend them at all. They didn’t obtain the necessary permits for the tankless water heater installation, and their work was shockingly unprofessional. They started working on the tankless heater without asking, and the resulting damage – including leaving holes in my wall and improperly wiring my mini-split – has created a huge mess. Worse, they left me to deal with all the problems myself, refusing to return my calls or offer any assistance. It’s been a complete nightmare, forcing me to file a complaint with the city and the ROC just to get basic repairs done. To add to the frustration, one of the workers was vaping on my property while working, and the overall cleanup was extremely messy. This experience has been incredibly stressful and has unfortunately impacted my health.” report abuse

  Overall, we were really happy with the service we received from PlumbSmart. Derek was fantastic – he took the time to thoroughly inspect our air conditioner, showed us pictures, and clearly explained the issues and what needed to be done. He patiently went through the different repair options with us and provided a detailed breakdown of the costs. We really appreciated his honesty and expertise. Walker and Miguel did an excellent job with the removal of the old unit and the installation of the new one and the thermostat. They were super helpful, answering all our questions and making sure we understood everything. And Justin did a brilliant job cleaning the vents and ducts too. What really stood out was how professional and friendly all the technicians were – they were polite, knowledgeable, and took great care to clean up after themselves. report abuse
