  “We were absolutely thrilled with the work BCG Concrete Construction did on our patio and deck by the pool, which had unfortunately been a mess from a previous contractor. They also installed a much-needed drain – it’s fantastic! Gregory and his team were incredibly professional and did an amazing job. We’re so happy with the finished result, especially how they matched the existing concrete perfectly. They were always on time, and even managed to finish a day ahead by putting in some really long days.   “Overall, I was really disappointed with the final result. While the worker was punctual, the finished product just wasn’t what I’d envisioned. I specifically asked for the pad to be built against the fence, but it seems there was a misunderstanding about how it would be constructed – it ended up using the fence posts and structure itself. I brought up my concerns early on, but the owner was surprisingly confrontational. Honestly, if someone had advised against building the pad that way, it would have saved a lot of frustration. Furthermore, the height of the structure was much greater than I anticipated. I’d initially discussed raising the pad and whether a ramp would be needed, but I was told it would be a small drop-off. Now, it’s a significant rise. The entire thing looks awful, and my wife completely hates it – she thinks it needs to be redone. It’s frustrating to pay for something that’s so unattractive, and I felt like the communication was lacking throughout the process.” report abuse

  “I unfortunately had a very negative experience with BCG Concrete. I hired them for a slab project and made a deposit based on their initial bid. However, shortly after, the owner, Gregory Rice, admitted he hadn’t even looked at the site before providing the quote, and then he unexpectedly demanded additional funds because of a tree stump. I firmly stood my ground regarding my fixed budget, but he became incredibly aggressive and unprofessional over the phone. Moving forward, I requested all communication be done via email, but that didn't change his behavior. Frankly, it seems they weren’t properly assessing the job before quoting, and they didn’t clearly communicate that costs could potentially increase after the initial payment.   “I couldn’t be happier with the work BCG Construction did for me. Greg was fantastic – incredibly knowledgeable and offered some really helpful ideas for my patio project. He clearly outlined the timeline with a start and completion date, and his team followed through perfectly, exceeding my expectations. They completely removed my old patio and built a fantastic, much larger space that’s perfect for a basketball court. They even took care of the concrete base and anchoring for the goal. Everyone was hardworking and incredibly courteous, and I genuinely enjoyed working with Greg and the whole team. The concrete looks absolutely amazing – it’s a truly great job.
