  “I was so impressed with Gf Heat and Air! My insurance company recommended them for my broken central air, and they went above and beyond. Unlike other companies I’d dealt with through insurance, they called me back the same day and actually responded quickly. They explained everything clearly, making sure I understood the problem with my unit, and they took care of everything – even brought the necessary parts. It felt like they were really focused on getting my system back up and running properly, like a true emergency service.   “I was really pleased with the service I received from GF Heat & Air. The technicians were incredibly polite and professional, and though it took a little while to pinpoint the problem with my furnace, they eventually found and fixed it. What impressed me most was that they took the time to explain exactly what was wrong and how the furnace works. Plus, they left my home spotless after themselves.   “I contacted them about a problem with my fan circuit board – it had completely failed, and I’d temporarily bypassed the fan to get my AC working again. Mr. Ever was really thorough, asking for all the details so he could order a factory replacement. Then, a week later, Mr. Fredy arrived and asked for the same information. Unfortunately, a board from a different manufacturer ended up being sent. Mr. Fredy and an apprentice showed up to install it, and things quickly went sideways. My wife called me because they were there for hours, and I went to check on it. Mr. Fredy was on the phone with the help desk, trying to get the circuit board installed after he’d accidentally blown a fuse. He then insisted the thermostat was the issue, even though the AC had been running fine with the temporary fix I’d put in place. When I pointed out that the photo he’d taken of the replacement board showed he’d actually crossed two wires – a direct connection from the transformer and the cooling wire – it became clear that’s what caused the short and blew the thermostat. Ultimately, Mr. Fredy contacted my insurance company and they decided not to send anyone back because of the old thermostat.” report abuse
