  “Our experience with Custom Floor Covering was incredibly frustrating and, ultimately, a disaster. From the start, the quality of the hardwood installation was poor, and despite eventually admitting their mistakes, the process took an enormous amount of time, caused a huge mess, and disrupted our lives significantly – we even had to completely reinstall the floor. As someone who manages multiple properties, this level of trouble is completely out of the ordinary for us. Adding to the problem, they also damaged some of our nearby ceramic tiles, and the whole experience was marked by a hostile and distrustful atmosphere. They refused to acknowledge the damage and fought us relentlessly, especially when it came to covering the cost of fixing the tiles. This led to a legal battle, which was particularly difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite our attempts to reach a fair resolution through mediation, they refused to cooperate, and the case went to a virtual trial handled by someone who wasn’t a qualified legal professional. The trial was a complete waste of time and effort, filled with inaccuracies and outright lies. After a lengthy and stressful process, we were left with a judgment that was completely wrong. We tried to appeal, but ultimately decided it wasn't worth the risk and further expense. Custom Floor Covering, Inc., their owner, and their employees consistently denied any wrongdoing, blaming us for being overly particular. It’s a shame when justice isn’t served, and we felt completely violated by their dishonest behavior. We strongly advise anyone considering flooring work to steer clear of Custom Floor Covering, Inc. – there are many other companies that prioritize customer satisfaction and take responsibility for their actions.” report abuse

  “Honestly, my experience with this company was incredibly frustrating. Initially, Andy, the owner, was really helpful and friendly when we first spoke. However, things quickly went downhill. He became incredibly difficult to reach and wouldn’t return our calls, forcing us to constantly chase him for answers. Getting anything done was painfully slow – we had to call multiple times and even go back to the store repeatedly. Then, just weeks after agreeing on a price, he suddenly increased it by $5,000 with a ridiculous list of excuses. It felt completely dishonest and unprofessional when he just yelled at us and told us to find another supplier. Thankfully, we were able to get out of the situation before we started the project, and we’re now working with Flooring Express, who have been so much more reliable and straightforward.” report abuse
