  I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience purchasing flooring from FD. From the start, I made it very clear to the salesman and the office that I didn’t want any knot holes in my flooring. I even selected a specific plank at my new house that was flawless. However, when I returned after moving to Texas, the flooring installed was completely different and looked nothing like what I had chosen. The salesman was aware I wouldn’t be around for the installation, and yet he still proceeded. I felt pressured to sign off on the work because the movers were scheduled to arrive very soon. Honestly, I really dislike this flooring – it constantly looks messy, like something has been spilled on it, or there are even bugs on it. The installers themselves did a great job with the installation, which is the only reason I’m giving FD one star; otherwise, I wouldn’t have given them any rating at all. report abuse

  I couldn’t be happier with the floors Flooring Direct installed – it was a truly fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was so smooth and easy. Bill, my salesperson, was incredibly patient and friendly, and Vicente and his team were just brilliant. They were so knowledgeable and meticulous, taking such great care to make sure everything was perfectly level and cut. Honestly, I was originally planning to do it myself, but seeing the care they took convinced me it was worth letting the professionals handle it. They finished the job in just two days, ahead of schedule! Vicente even went above and beyond by pointing out a problem with my toilet and offering to fix it if I bought the parts – a really thoughtful touch. I absolutely adore the new floors and wholeheartedly recommend Flooring Direct to anyone I know. report abuse

  “We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Floor Direct! From the moment we started the process online, to the friendly visit from Collion who was incredibly helpful without any pressure, everything was smooth and easy. Karen in the office was a real gem – she was so nice and quick to answer all our questions about getting our floors installed. The installation team, led by Joevani, were fantastic too! They were incredibly respectful of our home and belongings, and just really nice people.   This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. From the beginning, the contractor made a firm commitment to match our existing flooring, a promise they completely failed to deliver on. Worse, after damaging our porch – including ruining fans, walls, baseboards, and doors – they simply walked away from the job, leaving it unfinished despite being fully paid. Despite repeated broken promises and a lack of support, even from management, we were repeatedly given leeway. The situation escalated to the point where we had to file an insurance claim, which is still ongoing due to the contractor’s difficulty in responding. It’s clear there was a significant lack of professionalism and management throughout this project, and we're still dealing with the fallout. report abuse

From the initial text message on a Monday to having someone at my house on a Thursday for a quote, and then the carpet being installed just a few days later, the whole process was incredibly smooth and efficient. Rogelio and the team even moved all my furniture for me – it was truly fantastic. The entire job was completed in just six hours, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results.
