  “The technician initially diagnosed a problem with our air conditioning and quickly identified an issue with some improperly taped ductwork and a low Freon level, which they promptly addressed. They recommended we consider replacing the unit down the line. However, we never received a quote for a replacement. After a week, the AC was still struggling to cool properly. When they investigated the outside unit, they simply stated the unit was “doing all it can” and advised against replacement. We then got a second opinion from another company who pointed out the dirty coils. Interestingly, our original company never inspected our coils. Once the second company cleaned them, the unit started working correctly and didn’t need a replacement after all.” report abuse
