  “We were really struggling with our new Rheem unit – it just wasn’t cooling the house properly, consistently staying below 83 degrees. After getting reassurance from the previous installer that everything was fine, we decided to get a second opinion from Precise. I’m so glad we did! They spent three incredibly thorough days diagnosing and fixing the issues, including completely redoing the installation and ductwork, resizing the air intake, and sealing all the leaks. They truly live up to their name – Precise did a fantastic job.   I’m so happy with Precise! We moved into our home and they checked both our furnace in the winter and air conditioning in the summer – which was fantastic. We proactively replaced the compressor based on their advice, and we were so grateful we did, especially with the hot summer we had. Most recently, we had a plumbing issue and they sent someone out the very next day after I contacted them late at night. They’re amazing, really affordable, and incredibly honest. Five stars!   Overall, the initial service was okay – the technician diagnosed a broken part in my AC unit and replaced it. However, the issue didn’t fully resolve the problem, and the company then aggressively pushed for financing a completely new unit, despite the existing one still not working correctly. Thankfully, a second company was able to quickly identify and fix the real issue – a wiring problem – along with cleaning my coils, for just $300. It’s worth noting that some companies seem more interested in selling you a new system than actually investigating and fixing the existing one, so be sure to get a thorough assessment before agreeing to any major repairs or replacements. report abuse
