  I was really frustrated with my recent experience renting a jumping jack. I was charged $744.83 for a week and an hour of use, and also had to purchase a $3000 tool – it worked perfectly, but the billing was completely unreasonable. When I questioned the extra day charge, as I couldn’t return it after my shift or on the weekend, I was given conflicting answers and essentially told it wasn’t their concern. I’ve had good experiences with Sunstate in the past, but this felt like pure revenue maximization, and I’m not happy with the way it was handled. Honestly, I don’t see much I can do about it, and I’d definitely advise others to avoid them. report abuse

  “Overall, I had a really positive experience! The tool was great and the service was fantastic – I especially appreciated being able to keep it until Monday morning for the same daily rate. That extra time really took the stress out of the job. Home Depot doesn’t offer that kind of flexibility, and it was a huge help. Thanks for the great service!” report abuse

  “I had a really frustrating experience renting a forklift and pallet jack from Sunstate. I initially got a delivery fee of $150 for the return, which seemed excessive considering I picked up and returned the equipment myself. To make matters worse, I had to wait nearly 10 minutes on the phone for a second pallet jack, and the yard was only a 5-minute drive from my shop. Given the convenience of their location, I was shocked they didn't waive the delivery fee. Unfortunately, this experience left a poor impression, and I won’t be returning to that Sunstate location.” report abuse
