  Overall, American Solar and Roofing did a fantastic job installing our 12 solar panels. Miguel and Orlin were particularly skilled, especially considering the unique challenge of working with our stone-coated steel shingles. We really appreciated how well Jose, the project manager, coordinated everything between American Solar, SRP, and the City of Tempe – it took some effort to get all the approvals and installation completed, but they worked together seamlessly. Now, our solar panels are running at 100% and significantly reducing our electricity bill. Mary Anne was also a huge help with the billing and keeping us updated through the handy app, which shows everything happening in real time. report abuse

  “I couldn’t be happier with American Solar Roofing. They were incredibly professional – they scheduled the roof inspection promptly, arrived on time, and were exceptionally thorough and courteous. It’s exactly the kind of service I expect. We’ve used them twice now, including a recent complete roof replacement and panel installation, and the work was absolutely wonderful. Sean, our sales representative, was so knowledgeable and professional, and he was always available to answer our questions. Ben Farr, our project manager, was outstanding; he kept us updated daily and made the whole process incredibly smooth. The team’s work on both the roof repair and the solar panel installation was excellent, and they were all just so friendly and hardworking.   Overall, I’m really pleased with my American Solar system – I had it installed back in 2009 and it’s been trouble-free since. My monthly APS bill is now around $20, which is fantastic, and I’m still getting credits for the energy I’m generating. I did have a minor issue with the inverter a while back, but American Solar took care of everything under warranty, so there were no costs to me. Looking back, I’m confident I’ve more than made up for the initial investment because of the significant drop in my electricity bills. Considering my home is entirely electric, with a 5-ton AC unit, a pool, a hot tub, and two large freezers, I wholeheartedly recommend American Solar – it’s been a great investment for me. report abuse

  “Overall, we’ve been really pleased with American Solar & Roofing. We recently contacted them because our solar panel system wasn’t producing as much power as it used to, and they quickly identified that our old inverter was the issue. Shaun C. did a fantastic job diagnosing the problem and installing the new inverter – it’s made a huge difference, and now we’re generating more power than we’ve seen in the last four years!   “I’m really pleased to see American Solar is still going strong after all these years – 16 years to be exact since we had our system installed! The original parts have held up remarkably well, though we did need to replace the inverter, which was a significant expense. However, I’m already saving around $200 a month on my electricity bill, so the new inverter should pay for itself in under two years. I also want to give a huge shout-out to Shaun, the technician who came out. He was fantastic – so knowledgeable, helpful and professional. He explained everything really clearly and even spotted some roof damage caused by wind, and kindly suggested we get it repaired – we’re actually already scheduling roofers to take care of it.” report abuse

  “American Solar and Roofing did a fantastic job replacing our roof and installing the solar panels. The team was incredibly efficient and really professional throughout the whole process, which took just 10 days. I was especially impressed with how they kept the property spotless – they cleaned up every day, even blowing away the little debris and hosing down the patio.   “American Solar and Roofing reached out to me because my solar system is quite old – 15 years! They noticed my production had decreased to about 70%, which is typical for inverters after around 10-12 years. They offered me a great discount to replace them, and I’m so glad I took them up on it. Shaun C. did the installation, and he was fantastic. He was really knowledgeable and patient, explaining everything to me step-by-step, including how to register the system and use the app. He answered all my questions with a smile, and now my system is running at 100% again – I’m really happy with the service!” report abuse
