  Overall, we were really pleased with the service we received from American Solar & Roofing. From the start, Sean was fantastic – he really listened to our concerns and seemed to understand exactly what we needed. The initial survey was handled professionally, and Sean followed up promptly with his findings the following week. We appreciated the clear communication throughout the entire process, especially the advance notice about Jose’s team. They explained everything thoroughly when they arrived, and the team did a great job resealing our roof, even cleaning up all the debris afterward.   “I’d definitely recommend American Solar and Roofing. They originally installed my solar panels about 12 years ago, and when I needed new underlayment for my 7300 sq. ft. roof, they were my first call. They were incredibly professional and did a really thorough job – everything was very clean and their workmanship was excellent. There were a few delays due to the weather – some rain and a particularly bad flu season – which pushed the project out to about three months. Despite those setbacks, I’m really pleased with the final result; my roof looks fantastic and I’m back up and running!” report abuse

  Martin had a really positive experience with American Solar & Roofing. Jose and Miguel did a fantastic job installing his new solar system, which went online today and is working perfectly. He especially praised Sean for the thorough explanation of the system and his willingness to answer all of Martin’s questions during the initial estimate. Throughout the process, Mary Anne kept him well-informed with regular updates.   “My experience with American Solar was incredibly frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable. It started with my electric bill skyrocketing – it had quadrupled! Trico told me our solar system wasn’t generating power, and I immediately contacted American Solar, the company that installed it. They sent a technician who was able to fix the issue, but then they completely shrugged it off, citing a one-year warranty and claiming the original panels were no longer made, demanding I replace all 24 for over $20,000. It was unbelievable! I then had to contact Hyundai, the manufacturer, who thankfully was able to provide replacement panels. But even then, American Solar added another layer of hassle, charging me $600 just to get the serial numbers for the failed panels. It took nearly three months to get everything sorted out, and American Solar offered absolutely no support. It became clear they were just trying to make a sale, completely disregarding my electricity generation. Thankfully, The Solar Store stepped in and saved the day – they were professional, quick, and genuinely focused on resolving the problem for me. They replaced the panels in just a few hours for a reasonable price. Honestly, avoid American Solar; they’re not a reliable company.” report abuse
