  “Overall, there were some significant areas for improvement with this project. It’s concerning that the bird netting, which had been installed, was simply removed without being replaced. As a solar company, we’d expect a basic level of maintenance like addressing the cracked electrical riser at the main panel – that’s a critical issue. Furthermore, the customer invested over $900 for solar cleaning, pigeon removal, and the initial bird netting installation, only for it to be removed and never reinstalled. This level of service doesn’t align with what customers should reasonably expect.” report abuse

  “The crew arrived a little early and were really professional and courteous, taking the time to introduce themselves and explain what they’d be doing. They worked incredibly efficiently and with great care, especially with our solar panels – they reattached them to the new roof, cleaned them thoroughly, reconnected everything, and meticulously checked to make sure they were all functioning perfectly with the converter.   “I had a really frustrating experience with Tesla initially. They ended up owning my solar system and then tried to charge me an outrageous $2,800 just to remove two panels, and then another $5,800 to reinstall them! Given that I ultimately decided to replace my entire roof and needed 25 panels removed and put back, it was completely unreasonable. Luckily, I was able to get in touch with Solar Detach & Reset, who are Tesla-certified. They came out to my house, gave me an accurate quote, and scheduled the job seamlessly – even working directly with my roofing company, who had recommended them. They finished the job for significantly less than Tesla’s proposed cost, and I’m so glad I went with them. It was a smooth process, and I now have a brand-new roof and all my solar panels looking great!” report abuse

  “I was really pleased with the initial coordination between Solar Detach and Reset and the roofing company – I even left a five-star review at the time. Unfortunately, after that, I had some serious concerns about the quality of the reset work, and it wasn’t addressed. I tried repeatedly to get them to look at it, even asking me to climb onto my roof to send photos, which just wasn’t feasible for me. Despite my efforts, including sending photos and multiple emails and a certified letter, I never received a response. It seems like they weren’t really engaging with me. I’m sure some people there are doing good work, but I’d only recommend this company to someone who’s comfortable managing the project themselves or has the skills to handle the repairs. I’m now trying to find a reliable way to get in touch, perhaps if they could post an email address here that’s actually monitored.” report abuse
