They were fantastic from the start, reaching out to me after I moved into my new home and ultimately installing our Solar + Powerwall. I worked with several other companies in Phoenix, and honestly, none compared to the level of knowledge and expertise James provided. I even quizzed him on some things I already knew, and he consistently delivered accurate and helpful answers.   “I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this company. A representative came to our new home to provide a quote, and we agreed it was a good deal. We then attempted to secure financing, and a surveyor was scheduled. Ultimately, we decided to cancel, but instead of respecting our decision, the representative immediately started sending threatening texts and demanded a $3,500 cancellation fee – a fee that wasn’t outlined in any contract. Getting in touch with the company has been impossible; I’ve been bounced through voicemail despite no one answering the door. Their behavior is completely unacceptable – threatening legal action and resorting to scare tactics. It’s appalling that they pounded on our door like they were the police, even though we have a doorbell with a camera. I strongly advise anyone receiving a similar visit to simply ignore them. Because of their aggressive and harassing behavior, I would absolutely not recommend doing business with this company, and I’ll be telling everyone I know to steer clear.” report abuse

  “We were really disappointed with our experience with Independent Solar. We’d followed all the steps – signed a contract, had our plans drawn, and even gotten HOA approval. But after waiting about two months for updates, we were suddenly told the day before the installation that the financing company was going bankrupt. It was incredibly unsettling, and frankly, the way they handled it was concerning. They insisted on securing everything over the phone and even asked us to send our Social Security numbers. A reputable company would have sent someone to personally explain the situation and renegotiate the contract. Asking for sensitive information like that via text was completely unacceptable – it felt like a huge breach of trust.” report abuse

  “I can’t recommend Independent enough – they’re truly the best solar company I’ve worked with. The team, especially Vince, Brett, and Micah, were fantastic. They genuinely cared about our needs and were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process.   “We recently had our pre-1-year new home warranty inspection, and I was really impressed with how quickly they responded. The inspector found several cracked roof tiles on the side with our solar panels, and I contacted Sam Gomez and Edwin Sicairos, our sales reps. Within a day or so of speaking with them, they’d already arranged for a roofer to come out and schedule an inspection and replacement – fantastic! It all happened so fast, and it was completed by Monday morning. Honestly, Sam and Edwin were great to work with, and it’s clear this is a solid company.” report abuse

  “I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Independent Solar! Tony, my representative, was fantastic – so helpful and knowledgeable. He got me the best price compared to other quotes I received, and the best part was there was absolutely no upfront cost. The whole process was incredibly smooth and quick; they had my solar panels installed on my roof just yesterday after only about a month of work. The installers were professional and efficient.   “We were very concerned about the driver’s behavior. He was consistently speeding and tailgating other vehicles, nearly causing two rear-end collisions. The way he maneuvered the trailer while braking was also quite alarming and created some very unsafe conditions. We strongly recommend a review of his driving practices and would like to emphasize the importance of safe driving habits, especially when our company’s branding is visible.” report abuse
