Overall, our experience with this company was mixed. They did a good job insulating our attic and sealing the vents and ducts, which was definitely a relief. However, they significantly over-promised regarding the solar tubes – they explained a serious energy waste issue and suggested raising and sealing them, which was a major selling point. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to complete that work, and the solar tubes are still hanging from the ceiling. While they did attempt to address the issue, they ultimately stated that was all they could do, leaving us quite disappointed. I’m giving them 3 stars because they did complete the insulation and vent work as initially agreed upon.

I’d strongly advise against using ForEnergy. My experience was a complete bait-and-switch. I initially met a sales rep at the Mesa Swap Meet who offered a free energy audit, and while the initial audit itself was thorough, the promised services quickly fell apart. They quoted a couple hundred dollars, but the final bill ended up being several thousand. The biggest problem was the Aeroseal duct sealing – I’d paid for this service, but the technician determined my ductwork wasn’t suitable and ultimately canceled the work. Then, instead of discussing a refund, the ForEnergy team just slapped some duct tape around my vents. It was a ridiculous waste of money, and the quality of the work was terrible – the tape was poorly applied and immediately tore when the return covers were put back on. To add insult to injury, they lied about handling everything in-house, using subcontractors for the insulation and other tasks. And despite the inflated “energy efficiency” report they gave me – a score of 10.7 – my energy bills haven’t gone down at all. Basically, I paid a huge sum for a shoddy service and a blatant lie.

“I recently used FOR Energy and had a really positive experience. The staff at Walmart were incredibly friendly and helpful. They sent someone out to assess my home, and I was really impressed with the photos they took – I’d definitely recommend them. Just ask for Jen!”

“Jake and Jen were fantastic – they really took the time to thoroughly inspect our attic and gave us some really helpful insights. It was great that they were so honest about how good it looked and didn’t try to pressure us into anything we weren’t interested in. Plus, they even offered some DIY tips, which was a really nice bonus!”

“Thank you for your response. While I appreciate you outlining the details of your proposal, I still have serious concerns about the pricing experience. The significant drop in the quote after speaking with your manager felt like a deliberate tactic to pressure me into accepting a higher price. Frankly, the comparison with Koala Insulation highlights the issue. They didn’t recommend the same extensive work – like removing all my existing insulation – and their pricing was straightforward and transparent. It’s clear that a genuine consultation involves clear, consistent pricing, not a sudden discount that raises red flags. I’ll continue to advise homeowners to always get multiple quotes and prioritize providers who demonstrate trustworthiness and clarity.”

“We hired FOR to inspect our attic, and we were really pleased with their professionalism. Jen and Jermaine were both friendly and provided a very informative report – we knew our insulation was a problem and the back rooms were always so warm, so it’s great to have a clear plan for getting it sorted out and fixing our ducts.”

Overall, I was really pleased with the service I received. I was a little nervous at the beginning, just wanting a quick assessment and some testing, but they worked with me to find a solution that fit my budget. The appointments themselves were well-organized – I had them look at my vents and airflow, and then the insulation. I was particularly impressed with the immediate results with the vents; the temperature stayed steady at 70 degrees after turning off the heater, which was a huge difference! They were also incredibly thorough, taking pictures of all the work they did, and they warned me about the dust that would come with the increased airflow, giving me plenty of time to prepare. I really appreciate how they took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I’d definitely recommend this company – they did a fantastic job making my home more energy efficient and I’m excited to see what impact it has on my summer power bills!

Overall, we weren’t able to move forward with For Energy, though we really want to acknowledge the fantastic work of Joe Hemming, their consultant. He was truly exceptional – incredibly knowledgeable, provided really helpful information, and most importantly, we felt completely comfortable and confident in his honesty and transparency. He was a real asset and we wholeheartedly recommend him.

FOR Energy was fantastic – they really helped me understand what was going on with my high energy bills and the uncomfortable temperatures in my house. They explained everything so clearly with helpful videos and pictures, and I’m really excited to be working with Jen to get things sorted out. I’d definitely recommend them.

“I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service I received. As a single homeowner, I’m always a little wary of letting contractors into my house, but from start to finish, I felt completely taken care of. They went above and beyond, providing me with pictures and videos of the work as it was being done – it really put my mind at ease. The final report is coming, and I’m so excited to see the before-and-after photos, but already I can tell there’s a huge difference. The biggest problem – the heat coming in and my guest room not cooling properly – is completely resolved, and now I have perfect air conditioning throughout the whole house.”
