  “I was so grateful for the help I received from AZ Energy Efficient Home. My old air conditioner started leaking freon last summer, and through APS, they connected me with them. They did a thorough home energy audit and recommended a lot of updates, including replacing my AC and fixing my ductwork. What really stood out was their kindness – they came out twice to carefully top off the freon in my struggling unit while I saved up the money. Then, when I had a problem with the unit not kicking on in the winter, they diagnosed and fixed it the same day! Because of the new ductwork, my house is so much more comfortable, especially the bedrooms. My kids think it’s the best investment I’ve ever made for them, and honestly, the doors don’t slam shut and outside smells don’t come through the dog doors anymore. It’s been a truly great experience with excellent service and they always follow up to check in. Plus, my energy bills have gone down significantly, and I’m planning to have them add new insulation this spring – I highly recommend a home energy audit to anyone looking to improve the comfort and enjoyment of their home.” report abuse

  “We had a really frustrating experience with this company. They installed our water heater about four or five years ago, and when a leak developed, their response was completely unacceptable. Instead of taking responsibility and fixing the problem themselves, the owner, Jonathan, passed the issue off to a handyman, claiming it was a simple TPT valve issue – which turned out to be a faulty water heater requiring a complete replacement. The handyman spent countless hours and multiple trips to Ace Hardware trying to resolve the issue, and ultimately, a plumber confirmed the water heater needed to be replaced. This whole situation created significant extra costs for us, and we’re incredibly disappointed with their lack of accountability and poor customer service. It’s clear they didn’t have the proper tools or the willingness to address the problem directly. Their delayed response and dismissive attitude caused unnecessary stress and expense. We feel they failed to uphold their responsibility and provide the service we expected.” report abuse

  “I’ve worked with AZ Energy Efficient Home before and was really pleased with their service on my last home, so I reached out to them again when I converted my single-car garage into a woodworking shop. With this summer’s heat, I wanted to insulate the attic and add a mini-split cooling/heating system. AZ Energy Efficient Home was the clear winner – they were the only company that could handle both projects for me. They insulated the attic using fiberglass, and they even installed a 100-amp sub-panel for the mini-split, utilizing the existing portal they’d created previously. The whole job was incredibly clean and professional, and I really appreciated how thoroughly they explained everything to me before they started. I’m so happy with the results; it’s made a huge difference in the workshop’s temperature, and because it’s a heat-pump, it can both cool and heat. I’d definitely recommend AZ Energy Efficient Home and would absolutely use their services again.” report abuse

  “Overall, I was pretty disappointed with this company. My electric bill was already high, and after getting three different AC companies to check my system, they all confirmed it was working perfectly. Then, this company did an energy audit, and while the customer service was good – the person who came to my house was friendly – the 60-minute walk-through cost $124. What really bothered me was the recommendation for a $700 duct leak test, especially since the problem turned out to be a faulty meter. I wasn’t convinced that test was necessary, and frankly, the price was excessive. If they could have offered lower prices and actually conducted some meaningful testing, I’d have given them a much better rating.” report abuse

  “AZ Energy Efficient Home did an absolutely fantastic job transforming our house. They tackled everything – completely replacing our old insulation and meticulously sealing all the vents and ductwork. They also took the smart step of wrapping our water heater and installing a smart thermostat, which has already made a huge difference in our energy bills. As a result, we’re now Pearl Certified Gold, which is amazing! They also installed a whole-house air filtration system, and it’s been a game-changer for my wife, who has severe allergies and asthma. She’s noticed a tremendous improvement in her breathing since it was put in. There was a small hiccup when a filter broke, and it took about a week to get a replacement – my fault for not checking them regularly – but it highlighted just how effective the system is. Honestly, this was a significant investment, but it’s paid off for us. It’s a real investment in energy efficiency, and, more importantly, in improving the air quality in our home. If you or someone you know struggles with breathing issues, I wholeheartedly recommend AZ Energy Efficient Home.” report abuse

  “AZEnergy did an absolutely fantastic job with our home’s energy audit and upgrade. Jonathan was incredibly thorough in explaining everything, and the team was fantastic to work with. They were so considerate, especially since I use my house as my office and have three dogs – they really worked around our schedule. They completely tackled the insulation, installed new returns, and sealed everything up perfectly. It’s amazing how much quieter our system is now, and I’m already noticing a difference in how quickly the house warms up during the day.   “I really appreciated the initial energy assessment I got through the Home Performance Program, and it led me to AZ Energy Efficient Home. They’re an Energy Star qualified contractor with a fantastic reputation, and I felt completely comfortable with their approach. The audit itself was super easy, and I especially liked that the recommendations were focused on practical improvements and things I was genuinely worried about – there was no pressure to add services I didn’t need. We chose to replace the insulation and ductwork, and seal the attic in our 1980 home, and the whole process was handled efficiently. But honestly, the biggest surprise was the impact of the Energy Recovery Ventilator they installed. The air quality in our home has improved dramatically, and my son’s allergy symptoms have noticeably reduced.   Overall, I’m really pleased with the work that was done to improve my energy bill and the comfort of my home. Johnathan initially came out to assess the situation, and while the final cost was a bit higher than I’d expected, he was helpful in exploring different options, including suggesting a fantastic finance company that offered a zero-interest payment plan for five years – which really made a big difference. The team, led by Martin and another gentleman, did an excellent job installing the insulation, sealing the ductwork, and re-installing everything within two days. They were professional, and I especially appreciated how thoroughly they cleaned up after themselves. The window sunscreens were installed quickly after, and I’ve definitely noticed a significant improvement since the work was completed. We did have a small hiccup with some wiring issues affecting the floodlights and outdoor cameras, but they promptly returned and resolved the problem. I’d absolutely recommend this company – even with that initial concern, Johnathan was incredibly supportive in finding a solution for me. If you’re worried about the cost, I’d definitely look into the finance company they work with; it really took the stress out of the process. report abuse

They took the time to do a thorough assessment of our home and honestly explained what we needed to do to improve our energy efficiency. The team that worked on our house was fantastic! They were professional, punctual, and incredibly hardworking. They left our home spotless, and they were so considerate of our pets too. It was a genuinely positive experience having them in our home.
