    “I really wish things had gone better with Sun Tech. I did a lot of research when I replaced my 32-year-old air conditioner, comparing several companies based on what I read and recommendations I got. Jason from Sun Tech was fantastic – he took the time to explain everything to me and I really appreciated his knowledge. Unfortunately, after about six months, we started having a constant stream of problems, and it’s been a huge hassle. The unit kept shutting down, regardless of the season, and we couldn't get anyone to diagnose the issue. We ended up buying multiple portable heaters and a window AC unit to keep my parents’ room comfortable, as they live with us. The problems continued for nearly two years, culminating in a major flooding incident that damaged our attic. What’s been truly frustrating is the lack of follow-through. After the two-year warranty expired, the unit started malfunctioning again, and despite discussing the issues with their technicians, we’ve been stuck waiting for parts and repairs. It feels like they’re not taking our concerns seriously, and frankly, the way the initial installation seems to have been done is a major concern. I’m really disappointed with the whole experience.” report abuse

    “Overall, Sun Tech did a fantastic job getting my AC back up and running, and I really appreciate their responsiveness once I brought the issue to their attention. They completely turned things around, even improving the system’s performance beyond the original installation. However, I had a really frustrating experience with my home warranty company, OneGuard. They didn’t seem to take the initial problem seriously and I ended up paying over $1000 out of pocket for the refrigerant – a cost that shouldn't have been my responsibility, especially given the poor workmanship that led to the compressor failure in the first place.” report abuse

Jose was absolutely fantastic – he arrived before noon on Tuesday, even with the extreme heat, and was incredibly professional. He was so prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, taking the time to address all of our questions and explain everything in detail. He even provided us with documentation and photos as we requested and helped us establish a maintenance schedule that perfectly suits our needs.     “Overall, our experience with Suntech, through Landmark Home Warranty, was really frustrating. The initial diagnosis seemed a little odd, but the biggest problem was the delays – we spent weeks bouncing between Suntech and our warranty company trying to get answers. It felt like we were constantly chasing them for updates, and the conflicting diagnoses we received from different companies made things even more confusing. Eventually, we ended up getting a completely different diagnosis and fixing the issue ourselves for far less than Suntech was proposing to charge, especially considering the Freon issue. What really raised concerns was the way Suntech and Landmark seemed to work together – we read a lot of negative reviews suggesting they were deliberately trying to inflate costs, knowing the warranty wouldn’t cover the charges. While I can't confirm that's what happened, it certainly felt shady. If you're using Landmark Home Warranty, I'd recommend researching Suntech carefully before letting them handle your repairs.” report abuse

    “I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. The technician who came out under my home warranty was incredibly rude and didn’t actually fix anything. He identified a loose flex vent and simply made a negative comment about the ductwork without reattaching it. It wasn’t until three months later that I discovered the duct was still open, and when I contacted them to get it resolved, they claimed it wasn’t covered by the initial diagnostic fee. It felt like they just went through the motions and were more interested in trying to schedule another expensive visit than actually resolving the problem. Paying for a basic diagnosis that didn’t lead to a real solution was incredibly frustrating.” report abuse
