  I’m writing this review solely to warn others about my incredibly frustrating experience with Sunbelt after the new owners took over. I’ve rented equipment from various companies for years, and it’s never been this bad. I always appreciated working with Susan out of Chandler – she was fantastic! I needed a forklift in December, and was essentially forced into a week-long rental because they didn’t have any flexibility with deliveries that week. I accepted, knowing it would cost me a bit more, but I didn’t receive a receipt due to their new system issues. My representative in Phoenix agreed that the new system was a mess. Then, just four days after picking up the forklift, I received a call asking if I was finished with it, despite the original pickup being scheduled for the following Monday – the only day they’d allowed for pickup. When I questioned the pickup driver about scheduling a new pickup when it was already scheduled, they insisted I had to arrange it. Ultimately, I was wrongly charged for two weeks of rental instead of the single day I used it. Every time I’ve tried to resolve this, I’ve been met with being hung up on or transferred repeatedly. The only person who’s been helpful is Susan, and now she’s not even getting responses to her emails. Mark Krooks was also sent an email, but I haven’t heard back. It’s a complete disaster and I’ve lost $4,000 due to their terrible customer service. I absolutely won't be using Sunbelt again. report abuse
